The beautiful, peaceful camp comprises 6 tents with a view of the northern Drakensberg. Each tent is fitted with either a double bed or 2 single beds. Quality linen and soft towels are provided for guests' convenience. The tents are fitted with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin, as well as a fridge, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery.
There is a lovely swimming pool for those warm Lowveld days. Each tent has a private braai area and there is a communal kitchen with a microwave for guests' use.
The camp also boasts complimentary Wi-Fi so that guests can share their experience with friends and family. The famous Baobab Restaurant is also located on the farm and is a mere 5-minute walk from the camp. A cooked or continental breakfast is available to guests at an additional cost and braai packs, ice cream and soft drinks can be purchased from the restaurant.
A variety of fresh salads can be ordered in the morning and delivered to guests' tent for a braai. Baobab Tent Camp is a 45-minute drive from the Kruger National Park and is on the Panorama Route.

I have visited the largest Baobab tree before, but I think the one I saw at the farm is the largest. This camp is comprised of 6 tents with a beautiful view of the mountain and the orange farm. I was the only guest at the farm, which means I had access to every part of the camp. The complimentary Wi-Fi never disappointed. I enjoyed every moment of my stay at the camp. Wonderful host and I will definitely return very soon. This place is amazing and clean.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Baobab Tent Camp! The area is picturesque and the tranquility is a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is ideally located for exploring the south of Limpopo and the north of Mpumalanga - with easy access to the Kruger National Park and the Blyde River Gate. The owners are hospitable and the farm is particularly neat yet rough enough that you can enjoy the natural beauty. It is fantastic value for money and we would definitely recommend it.
Best way to experience the Lowveld! The view of the mountains is beautiful and much closer than the photos depict. Linen and towels in excellent condition and unit very tidy. We especially appreciated a few little things that this self-catering unit provided that others don't such as insecticide, air freshener by the toilet and a faucet with a garden hose by the barbecue area to wet coals when the wind picked up late at night. Close to Hoedspruit for shopping, but far enough to experience the tranquility of nature. Could even hear manatees one night in the nearby Blyde River! Would only suggest that the owner maybe provide a gas plate/stove for the common kitchen if guests want to boil water or cook something during load shedding.

Very hot but the pool cools you down nicely.
Swimming pool needs urgent attention, barbecue area needs to be cleaned daily and grass between tents needs to be cut.

Exactly the right choice to start our short break with! Rich birdlife and peaceful surroundings next to a nice campfire with the host's top-shelf porridge and sheba. The fact that Baobab is located outside the town was a bonus for us, wonderfully private and in nature. Just feel like you're on vacation right away! Can definitely recommend the facility.
The facilities are excellent and most requirements such as crockery, cookware etc. are met. provide. Sharon went out of her way to help us with hot water for our grandson during "loadshedding". Can recommend the accommodation with peace of mind. The bird life is excellent.
Perfect getaway with enough privacy between tents. Enjoyed it a lot.
We were kindly received. The tents are clean and tidy and very comfortable. But then there is a communal kitchen with all amenities. Again the kitchen area was spotless. The tents are situated in such a way that they are very private. It is an ideal stopover on the way to the wildlife park and to explore the Hoedspruit area.

It's really good value for money, and just a peaceful getaway. Bathroom facilities were very neat and clean and a pleasure to use. Area is eerily quiet, just as we wanted it to be.
Owners went out of their way to make us feel at ease and the place is very nicely decorated. The surroundings are beautiful and you wake up with the most beautiful view!
